Fast-Track Contemporary Workspace for Global Footwear Design Studio.
KDUK is a global design consultancy for the international footwear market, with offices in Surrey and China and annual capacity for over 10 million pairs of trainers. Given the ongoing demands of the global marketplace, the project needed to be completed within a tight 3 week deadline to minimise any business downtime.
Our brief was to create a workspace that was spacious and contemporary but above all, functional. The main office, design room and storeroom were created with 100mm solid partitioning and double-glazed modules. Natural light was enhanced in the main showroom area both externally and internally with further glass modules, softening the feel of the area and creating a welcoming environment.
Cherry veneer doors were introduced throughout and the innovative Slatwall system was used throughout the showroom space, enabling the display of a large amount of products across a fully customisable range of durable hooks, arms and shelves fitted into wall slats.
Cork walls were introduced into the collaborative areas along with glass manifestations across the project.
Completed within the 3 week schedule and also within the agreed budget, the new-look KDUK premises combine to make a collaborative and functional workspace.
