Live Broadcast Basement Post-Production Delivered Under Budget.
The dismantling and reconstruction of a basement complex against a background of ongoing live broadcasting for ITV, Channel 4 and Channel 5.
East On Media Solutions worked a 24 hour schedule. When ITN was broadcasting live news, we were silent and invisible. When they drew breath we worked. In six months we delivered high specification edit suites whilst overseeing technical installation plus testing and commissioning. All with zero disruption.
Eight state-of-the art post-production suites, and a Dolby and Netflix-Accredited Atmos suite. East On then managed the upgrade of the audio desks from S4 to S6 and built a dedicated local comms room with a farm for remote working as the Pandemic took hold.
The overall project was delivered under budget through savings made by design enhancements and innovative build techniques. That’s called Value Engineering, and it’s something we have taken to the very core of our business ethos.
